If your middle name is “Too Much,” “Not Enough,” “Overthink” or “Out of Control” I’ve got you. I support folks who are up in their heads, struggling with self-trust and self-love. Having an unbalanced brain due to trauma, anxiety, relational betrayal, and/or neurodivergence can cause a lot of pain but that doesn’t have to be your experience:
Address feeling out of control for more safety.
Develop new narratives about who you are and what you can do.
Learn somatic skills to be calm, connected, and clear.
Cultivate stronger, satisfying relationships.
Gain a sense of wholeness via self trust and love.
You can learn how to balance your chaos brain. I’m here to show you how.
You’re more than your brain…discover how with somatic psychotherapy.

My approach
-
Experiences and associations are at the root of our chaos brains. This means healing needs to happen through new experiences and associations. I’m here to show you how with somatic, expressive arts, and talk therapy.
-
While making meaning is important (the why), healing happens with the what and the how. I engage clients (both individuals and couples) in somatic psychotherapy activities: emotional regulation techniques, somatic resourcing, interpersonal skills, mindful movement, active imagination exercises, and much more. These activities build new ways of being, reducing chaos brain.
-
I love integrating my passions as a creative into therapy. Depending on your creative interests, we’ll use writing, visual arts, yoga, and movement to support your goals. Expressive arts therapy is another way to deepen your self trust and love.
-
Using a combination of Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and other somatic approaches, I take clients through four phases of growth to realize their wholeness. These therapeutic frameworks are experiential in nature and support the awareness-building, befriending, processing, and integration of trauma and anxiety patterns.
-
First, we work to build awareness of the beliefs, experiences, body sensations and memories that negatively impact your wellbeing. We will collaborate on a plan that’s right for you or your relationship(s).
Next, I teach resourcing skills and befriending practices that address ingrained survival strategies that no longer serve you or your relationship(s). Through this process, you can build a more trusting and compassionate relationship with yourself, others, and the world.
Finally, deeper wounds are addressed and processed, clearing the way for more satisfaction and wellbeing. To close, I’ll support the integration of your journey as we build new internal and external relationships for more trust and love.

About me
As a neurodivergent sexual trauma survivor, I understand the rawness and resilience of being human. Passionate about bringing cognitive, creative, and somatic resources into people’s daily lives to aid their goals and growth, I aim to make healing manageable and even enjoyable.
I grew up in the Mid-West and moved to California for a former career in marketing communications at tech companies. Feeling DEEPLY unsatisfied in those roles, I went on a quest to discover my calling. Traversing my own healing journey, I discovered somatic psychotherapy and fell in love. Being a life-long mover (sports, yoga, and dance), I understood the power of the mind/body/spirit connection. Now I help others discover it’s power for their own healing journey.
That journey asks us to develop new skills while calling back our wholeness. I love empowering my clients to discover or re-discover themselves through collaborative, healing creativity. I bring my enjoyment of dance, yoga, mindfulness, writing, and visual arts into sessions.
With the collective in my heart, I am committed to bringing cultural humility, diversity, and inclusion to my work. I take a sex-positive, body-accepting, and LGBTQ+ celebrating approach to therapy. My practice is located on the unceded lands of the Costal Miwok peoples.

I do not accept insurance; however I know how cost can be a barrier to care. I can help verify if you have out-of-network benefits. I use a service called Thrizer that automatically submits super bills for you and allows you to only pay your co-insurance for my sessions, which could save you an average 70% on my full rate every session.

I do offer sliding scale sessions; however I only have a select number of slots available at a given time.
If you are interested in sliding scale rates, consider sharing information about your situation when you reach out.
I use my practice management software to charge folks after sessions have occurred. This is done using your credit card, which is securely stored with SimplePractice.
